DISCOVERY SCIENCE CENTER (Santa Ana)$12.95 Adult, $9.95 (ages 3-17); Free for children 2 & under A 59,000-square-foot learning facility designed to spark children's natural curiosity. It is divided into several themed areas where guests will explore Perception, Dynamic Earth, Quake Zone, Techno Arts, Air & Space, Discovery Stadium Dino Quest, and KidStation (an area for 5-year-olds and under).

GUINNESS WORLD RECORD MUSEUM (Hollywood) $12.95 Adults; $6.95(6-12); FREE (under 6) This museum has over 3,000 facts, feats, and world records that are collected from the famous Guiness Book of World Records. Open 10 a.m. to midnight daily.

LOS ANGELES ZOO (Los Angeles)$12 (age 13+); $7 (ages 2-12); Free for children under 2 Parking is free Visit the Winnick Family Children's Zoo, Riordan Kids Korner, and Neil Papiano Play Park. The Neil Papiano Play Park incorporates animal-themed climbing sculptures, large play structures, a toddler area, water misters, grassy landscaping, and a large picnic area. It was specially designed to be accessible to all children visiting the Zoo, including those with medical and physical challenges.

Explore the West's largest collection of railway locomotives, passenger and freight cars, streetcars, interurban electric cars, buildings and other artifacts dating from the 1870's. Access to the museum ground and parking is free.

MUSEUM OF TOLERANCE (Los Angeles) $15 Adults; $12 Seniors; $11 (5-18 yrs & Students); FREE (under 5) Bring your kids to the museum for an interactive, high-tech experience that will inspire them to learn from the past, engage in the present, and assume responsibility for the future. Kids can participate in hands-on learning through multimedia exhibits and group activities.

Its Buddy Rodgers Theater also shows daily documentaries related to aviation in the military with an emphasis on World War II, including artifacts and library related to aviation and American military history.

RONALD REAGAN PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY & MUSEUM (Simi Valley) $12(ages 18-61); $9(over 62); $6(ages 11-17); Free(under 11) Perched on a mountaintop with sweeping views of mountains, valleys, and the Pacific Ocean, this 100-acre site offers memorable experiences for people of all ages. Visitors can follow a young Ronald Reagan on his rise from local hero and college standout to the glamorous world of Hollywood stardom. His campaign trail and inauguration as the 40th President of the United States, the Oval Office, and key events of his two terms are revealed through documents, photographs, and artifacts from eight dynamic years in the White House.
