They offer train rides every 3rd Saturday and Sunday of the month from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Rides are free but they do accept donations. The free train rides are very popular so arrive early to avoid long waits. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy riding the trains adults of all ages climb aboard and have a fun ride around the park

The gate is open from 10:45 am to 3 pm. Train rides begin at 11 am. Passengers must be at least 34" in height and weigh under 350 lbs. to ride. LALSRM survives solely on donations by railfans who visit and ride its trains. (Suggested donation $3.00)
