This year marks the 35th anniversary of pop icon, Hello Kitty! To celebrate this milestone, an exhibit entitled "Three Apples" is currently being held at Royal/T Cafe in Culver City. Exhibit includes:- An art show
- A wall to wall living showcase of a Hello Kitty decked apartment
- Mini-theater showing Hello Kitty with Sanrio friends
- Hello Kitty retrospective
- A pop-up shop with lots of special 35th year merchandise
- Events on different dates (halloween party, masquerade, etc.)
This exhibit will run until November 15, 2009
While you're there, make sure you visit the cafe which offers a special Hello Kitty menu for this event only. Try their special "Kawaii Hello Kitty High Tea" for an assortment of mini-sandwiches and desserts including a small pot of tea. Other items on the menu are Tramezzini, Hello Kitty-shaped waffles and pancakes, and individually-wrapped Hello Kitty cookies. The cafe also offers a regular menu with assortment of sandwiches and other meal items.
