As a parent, you need respite...an "alone time" away from your kids to recharge. You'll probably ask "When?" Well, you can find the time, if you really want to. Do it while the kids are in school. Don't do the housechores or paperwork when the kids are not at home. In fact, do it when the kids are at home. You can do it together...delegate responsibilities. If you work, do it on your lunch break or take an hour or day off. Ask a relative or hire a sitter for couple of hours to watch the kids. You and your spouse/partner can also take turn watching the kids...give each other a few hours or a full day once a month away from the family.
